Pregnancy Massage & Prenatal Massage

The aim of prenatal massage, or pregnancy massage, is to provide relieve of the symptoms that come with the extra weight in the belly of the pregnant person. Pregnancy massage takes care of the strain on back and neck, and additional tension on the neck. It also aids the circulatory and lymphatic systems, which keep the blood flowing to both, mother and baby. Further massage will help to stabilize the hormone levels and relieve tension throughout the body.

Pregnancy massage may also be helpful with the upcoming labor, and will further be beneficial after birth, helping to restore the body and energy levels.

Pregnancy massage does not make use of deep tissue work, and avoids certain areas of the body for the safety and comfort of mother and baby. It's important to properly position and support the body using pillows and padding. Pregnancy massage is not advisable for people with certain health conditions. To be on the safe side, please ask your doctor or therapist for advice.
