Dawn graduated with honors from MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy RMT 2 year diploma program in 2011. Dawn's primary massage therapy work experience has been based from a multi disciplinary clinic in St. Albert, where she cared for patients with a variety of health issues, such as joint and muscle pain, stress, sporting accidents, pregnancy, sleep issues, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, arthritis, and many more. As Dawn and her family are residents of St. Albert, she is strongly involved in the community, mostly with minor sports and various volunteering efforts.

 

Brittiany Peacock, Registered Massage Therapist

Brittiany completed her 2200 hour two year long program at the Grant MacEwan University. During this time she gained experience with treating patients including infants, becoming mothers (pre- and post pregnancy), the elderly (geriatrics), and athletes. Brittiany dedicated her life to being able to help her patients reduce adhesions and restrictions found within soft tissue; with that regaining function and range of motion. Working together with her patients, her goal is to optimize the best possible quality of life.

Mike is looking back at 5 years experience as a Registered Massage Therapist (updated 2015). He is specialized in deep tissue and therapeutic treatment massage, where he e.g. focuses on helping to reduce physical restrictions. Together with his patients he works on the improvement and maintenance of health goals.

 

Christine Kumar, Registered Massage Therapist

Christine is a graduate of the 3000 hour Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy program at MaKami College and a Registered Massage Therapist. She is a member of the National Health Practitioners of Canada Association and has been practising massage therapy since 2013. Christine is trained in a number of massage techniques including Swedish massage, myofacial release, trigger point therapy, and deep tissue massage. She specializes in therapeutic massage therapy, pain relief, and stress management. Focusing on taking the time to understand her patients goals along with comprehensive assessment are the key values to her massage therapy practice.

 

Apryl Kokotailo, Registered Massage Therapist

Apryl graduated with 3000 hours from Makami College in March 2016. Her special skills include deep tissue, sports massage therapy, orthopaedic massage, relaxation, lymphatic drainage, and prenatal massage. She has treated medial and lateral epicondylitis, adhesive capsulitis, arthritis, carpal tunnel, and a variety of fractures and replacements. Apryl is always interested in treating more orthopaedic conditions that clients may come in with. She tailors her treatment plans to address each client's unique needs.

 

Elena Fursova, Registered Massage Therapist

Elena is originally from Russia, Moscow where she became passionate about dance and bodywork. While living in Russia, she learned about Yoga Therapy as a form of wellness and worked as Yoga instructor. She then completed several different training courses in Thai Massage Therapy and felt that she was on the right road towards realizing her full potential as health facilitator. She received training at the 2200-hour Massage Therapy College of Manitoba in 2016. Her journey until then transformed her view of the value of touch, and she developed her passion to facilitate clients with a desire to bring body and mind into balance. Since the very beginning of learning about the body, she continued her journey to discover and understand movement, both on a therapeutic and an esthetic level. Her intention is to continue expanding her knowledge base and to explore ways to incorporate all the education and experience bringing the absolute best for her clients.

 

Josh Gibbon, Registered Massage Therapist

Originally from Scotland, Josh immigrated to Canada after completing his honours degree in Human Physiology in 2011. With a keen interest in how the human body works and a desire to improve people's quality of life, Josh completed his 3000 hour Advanced Massage Therapy diploma at MaKami College. Specializing in rehabilitative and therapeutic soft tissue treatment he provides very effective treatment to a wide range of conditions including thoracic outlet syndrome, carpel tunnel, overuse injuries, trigger point therapy, muscle imbalance, emotional release, adhesive capsulitis and prenatal.

 

Ariel Anderson, Registered Massage Therapist

Ariel is a registered massage therapist who has completed her 2200 hour programming at Makami College. Her treatments are focused mainly on deep tissue and trigger point therapy to reduce pain and increase range of motion. Treatments can also include prenatal, relaxation as well as hot stone massage. Ariel chose massage therapy as a profession because of her desire to help people.

 

Lou-Ann Goguen, Registered Massage Therapist

Lou-Ann graduated from CDI college in Massage Therapy in 2011, and Advanced Massage Therapy where she received her 2200 hour practicum in January 2013. She is a member of the National Health Care Practitioners of Canada (NHPC) since 2011. She has only practiced in physiotherapy and chiropractic clinics since graduation which has rewarded her with experience in therapeutic and deep tissue techniques. As she is very comfortable with those techniques she also is trained in relaxation, cranial sacral reflexology, sports massage, upper and lower limb entrapment syndrome and much more. She is very versatile to adapting to all different body types, age groups, pain levels, and specific injuries. She was raised in St. Albert from a very young age and is now raising her family here.

 

Samantha Wiggins, Student Massage Therapist

Samantha is a student massage therapist currently in her final year of school. She will complete her 3000 hr massage therapy diploma in June 2018. She is interested in orthopedic massage and helping people improve their everyday quality of life. She chose massage therapy because she wants to use her newly acquired skills and techniques to bring mind and body back into balance.

 

Kaitlin Cayen, Student Massage Therapist

Kaitlin Cayen is currently a student massage therapist soon to graduate from CDI College in December 2017. Kaitlin has experience with sports and overuse injuries from volunteer work while in school and is interested in orthopaedic massage. Kaitlin chose to study massage therapy to help people feel their best and help them feel better in their everyday life.

Mary is a student massage therapist currently in her final year of school. She will complete her 3000 hr massage therapy diploma in April 2018. Mary grew up mostly in Mexico where massage therapy was practiced as a natural healer in her community. Mary is interested in orthopedic massage as well as relaxation, prenatal and myofascial release. She chose massage therapy because she wants to help people feel better while helping the body naturally to heal faster.

Julliet is one of the receptionists. She is currently studying for the Special Needs Educational Assitant at MacEwan University.
